This is how its done son!

This one was fun to do! I made a video out of this one. To be honest when I started this one out I thought to myself, just another image. After recording the whole process and making a video of it I am now attached to this one. The original is going to be sold at a show I will be in, man I do not want to sell it ha ha ha. Crazy to see how this one was conceptualized. Click on the title please! Enjoy...
Im on a roll, Im saying this right now.... Im going to put all these images in a book!

Gasp!

I did this piece with a untraditional dimension in mind. It had me stumped, and finally it hit me! Bam this image ensued. The dimension of the image and thinking how am I going to fill it makes me think logically which is the total opposite side of the brain when creating a image. To be honest when the two sides meet... a beautiful image occurs. Its no accident that I'm thinking about the sea life right now while the biggest oil leak disaster is occurring. Enjoy...
For art directors sake, I added some text to the image.

B.I.G.

I did this painting and the image before about two weeks apart (Im just now starting to post it). I seriously still have Notorious B.I.G. in heavy rotation. It's like I find a new verse worth examining every time I play an old song. I hear all the time that one has to visualize success and make it happen... visualize your dream ..... well posting this is my way of visualizing this artwork to be on a hip hop magazine...I did this for art directors to see the skills. Enjoy.... Go
Lakers!

Chomp

Here is a new one, I did this one on wood panel and colored it on photoshop. I did this for an upcoming show I will be a part of in July. When I was brainstorming an idea all I had in mind was Notorious B.I.G.'s "Ready to Die" album. I just wanted something that said hip hop, fun, and music. Enjoy...

This album is the soundtrack to my wonder years. BIG was the illest! And still to this day one of the greatest verses of all time was in "Get Money"
You wanna sip Mo' on my living room flo'
Play Nintendo with Cease-a-Leo
Pick up my phone say, "Poppa not home"
Sex all night, mad head in the morn'
Spin my V, smoke all my weed
Tattoo on tit-tie sayin B-I-G, now check it
You wanna be my main squeeze baby
Don'tcha, you wanna gimme what I need baby
Won'tcha, picture life as my wife just think
Full length mink, fat X and O links
Bracelets to match, conversation was all that
Showed you the safe combinations and all that
Guess you could say youse the one I trusted
Who would ever think that you would spread like mustard?
Shit got hot, you sent Feds to my spot
Took me to court, tried to take all I got
'Nother intricate plot, the bitch said I raped her
"Damn, why she wanna stick me for my paper?"
My Mo-sci-no hoe, my Ver-sa-ce hottie
Come to find out, you was fuckin everybody
You knew about me, the fake ID
Cases in Virginia, body in D.C.
Woe, oh is me, that's what I get for trickin
Pay my own bail, commence to ass kickin
Lick in the door, wavin the four-four
All you heard was, "Poppa don't hit me no more"
Disrespect my click, my shit's imperial
Fuck around and made her milkbox material
You feel me?Suckin dick, runnin your lips
'Cause of you, I'm on some real fuck a bitch shit, uhh..

When life gives you lemons you paint that shit gold!

This was something I did for Ninja Warrior show, the art director wanted something like Hiroshige's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa". It was almost cut but it made it to the show. I like the way it turned out!

I love the title of this post! I stole this line from Atmosphere's 2009 album. Good album you got to check it out.
